Junior and Senior Cycle
We are now officially in Autumn ,8 weeks into the school term. This time of year is all about planting
seeds, focusing on what we want to bring into fruition in the new year and what will blossom next
spring. Seeds have been planted when our 6th years attended the Irish Times Higher Options Career
Fair on the 26th of September. This has given our 6th years a lot of food for thought over the next
coming months.
College open days: Keep an eye out for open days at local universities and institutes of technology.
Visiting these institutions can give you a sense of what higher education feels like and to explore if it
is the right college for you.
The CAO will open for 6th – year students on November 5th 2024. There will be an information
evening for students, parents and guardians, date to be confirmed. Further details at www.cao.ie

Junior Cycle: This is your foundation for success. Try make the most of it by developing good study
habits and learn to manage your time.
