We are thrilled to congratulate Jessica Purcell and Sarah Coughlin on their outstanding achievement in the 104th Liffey Swim last Saturday, where they finished 1st and 2nd respectively. The Liffey Swim, which dates back to the 1920s, is steeped in history, and Jessica and Sarah's success is a testament to their dedication and hard work.
Following in the footsteps of Olympian swimmer Mona McSherry, they have made us immensely proud. To celebrate, we held a lap of honour for them, where students lined the corridors, showcasing the Dominican College spirit of support and kindness. This was the first lap of honour in our school's history, and we hope to continue this wonderful tradition in the future. Well done, Jessica and Sarah—you've made history at Dominican College!
