Our senior camogie team made a fantastic start to their season, securing a win in their first match of the year against St. Joseph's of Lucan. The game took place on Wednesday, 25th September, at Na Fianna GAA club.
Under the leadership of captain Caitlin McKenna and vice-captain Abbie Cassidy, the team delivered a strong and unified performance, showcasing impressive teamwork and determination. Both Caitlin and Abbie led by example, demonstrating excellent leadership on the field throughout the match.
Our goal scorers – Hannah Murphy, Emma Broderick, and Sadhbh McGeough – stood out with their remarkable contributions to the scoreboard, helping to secure the team's well-deserved victory.
Both Maria Burke and Stephanie O'Riordan Lopez, had their senior camogie debuts making a seamless transition into the team with great skill and energy.
